0️⃣ What are Meeting Types?
Meeting Types are templates that define the types of events you offer. Creating your first Meeting Type was never this easy! We will guide you through the steps you need to take to launch your new Meeting Type.
For each type of event you can specify the following:
- Name, duration, and location
- Times you're typically available (e.g. your working hours) or unavailable (such as break time and weekends)
- When Meeting Types can start (such as every 30 minutes)
- Amount of time before a Meeting Type that guests can schedule
- The price for a Meeting Type

💡 Something you should know
- If you plan to use a videoconference application, such as Teams or Google Meet, connect your calendar to Lineup to automatically generate Meeting links for that provider (see Synchronizing your calendar for instructions).
- With your paid Lineup subscription, you can create as many Meeting Types as you want.

1️⃣ Create a new Meeting Type
On your Meeting Types page click on Add one. You can also click on the plus symbol (+) located on the left side menu.
Once you do this, a popup will appear, offering you the choice between a One-on-One Meeting Type and a Group Meeting Type.
- On a One-on-One Meeting, Customers will book slots to meet with an individual User.
- For Group Meetings, you can configure up to 25 available slots for individual Customers to book. These Customers will all join in on a single Meeting with one of your Users.
